Defibrillators in Marazion

The best chance of restarting a stopped heart, defibrillators should be within 200 metres or a two-minute walk of where it is needed. Marazion has seven potentially lifesaving devices to complete this ‘arc of protection’ ensuring it is the first town in the country that meets this guideline.

The town council has spent the last year working with the local school, health services, local businesses and Mr Paul Williams from The Ronnie Richards Memorial Charity in order to deliver the plan to meet the recommended defib guidelines

All of the town’s defibrillators are listed on The Circuit, a nationwide overview where defibrillators can be located.
